KKCF NYE09 Gold Ball
We saw the New Year in with style at the glamorous KKCF NYE09 Gold Ball held at Preston City Hall.
Dancing to the music of Sandra Jackson and Replay 6, the crowd enjoyed the fabulous buffet provided by Golden Roast. With lucky seat prizes, raffles and toss-a-coin there was plenty of entertainment for this great event.
We thank all who came along and enjoyed the wonderful night.

Lentil As Anything
A fun night was had by all who attended the dinner at Lentil as Anything in Abbotsford on 10th October.
Lentil is a fun place to get great vegetarian meals. It’s crowded, noisy with a great atmosphere of fun and community.
We raised $515 from the night. Congratulations to Christine Parrott who was the lucky winner of our raffle.

Claytons Wedding
Mick Brown and Rosemary (Toots) Thuring had an Elvis Pink Cadillac Wedding in Las Vegas on June 5 2009.
 When they returned to Melbourne they held a reception for friends and family at Clayton Hall on 5th July.
They asked that guests do not give them gifts but instead make a donation to KKCF – they raised $1,683. Thank you Mick and Toots for your sincere kindness and generosity.
We wish you all the very best for a long and happy future together.

 Karaoke Night

We had a great time at our Karaoke night on Sat 13th June.
Although we didn't have a large crowd, those who came had a wonderful time and because of their generosity, we raised just over $2,000. A huge thanks to Maree and Peter Kelly from The Art House (www.thearthouse.com) for their very generous donation.

 Rotary Fundraising Night
12th May 2009
Thank you to RACV and Hertz for providing us with a great prize of 5 days car hire and $500 for accommodation. This enabled four of us from Melbourne (Tracy Warner, her son James and friends Peter and Georgie Godfrey) to visit Sydney during May.
Apart from having a wonderful holiday, we took this opportunity to present to nearly 200 guests at the Combined Services Dinner. We told the guests the story of the Kathleen Keegel Children’s Fund (KKCF). Thank you to Natalie and the team from Gunargarang Rotaract Club for the invitation to speak at this function and a great thanks to all who attended for their generous $1000 donation.

 Valentines Dance Night
14 Feburary 2009
The dance was held at St Anthony's hall in Noble Park. The theme of red and black was seen through the night as guests danced away to the sounds of Sky Explosion.
A lovely Sri Lankan buffet meal was served by the staff at MD catering. Thanks to all who supported us for this fun event.
